| Horses We've Loved......... It took me a LONG time to finally construct this page due to the fact that each horse we've lost has hurt so badly... especially the two---my precious stallion--Wimpys Added Chrome, and his favorite mare, Zips Kachina... Both these horses were fighters and were with me throughout my battle with cancer... We felt they needed to be remembered but I didn't have the heart to do this until now... These horses, all of them, will always be in our hearts and their spirits will always run free at our farm. We miss you....... |

| Dreamer was purchased as a stallion prospect for the ranch Appaloosa program. At his first show as a weanling, he took Reserve Grand Champion in halter and placed 3 out of 10 in the color class. Sadly, in December 2006 Dreamer died from unknown causes. He was a clown, he was loved, he is missed... | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| "Chili" was a mare I acquired in 2006. I fell in love with her on sight. She was difficult to deal with for most people but she and I had an understanding... Her prior owner had raised her from birth and was very particular about where Chili went when she was forced to sell her. I walked into her pasture and for some unknown reason, Chili walked up to me...very unusual...only happened very rarely after that. But that made her my mare. I took her home. Chili gave us two gorgeous foals-- 2007 APHA Zips Clouded Destiny and 2008 APHA Zips Double Destiny... Both are absolutely gorgeous homozygous sabino fillies who display traits from both their sire, Wimpys Added Chrome, and their dam. We plan to keep these two fillies at the ranch for their entire lives. Chili turned up with a broken back one morning Aug 2008. She couldn't get up... The vet said he couldn't see how she had broken it the way it was broken but he didn't think she'd get up again. She fought it... she got up!! Our vet was amazed and said she was one of the greatest fighters he had seen. But three days later she was down again... and we lost her. It was a big blow... My husband said her fight reminded him of me while I had cancer... She was determined and she was never mean to anyone. This mare was probably one of my favorites and I greatly miss her. Rest in Peace Chili... | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
