Our Gelding Friends

We have several wonderful geldings at the farm that will be with us for a long time.  APHA Mr Jeta Denero and APHA Big Daddys Cash are the two ranch geldings that are used for all kinds of tasks.  Matt will be my cowboy mounted shooting horse.  Saber is just going to be "that" gelding for all riders.  Please click on their names to view their pedigrees.

APHA Mr Jeta Denero

Denero was given to us as a wedding gift from the undersheriff at the Payne Co. Sheriff's Office.  Denero stood as the ranch stallion at Eagle Creek Ranch for six years and produced gorgeous, well-built foals.  Denero is now an all-purpose gelding that is used at our farm.

APHA Big Daddys Cash

Cash was received through a trade for a foundation broodmare.  Our original plan was to train Cash and sell him to a barrel racing home due to his potential in that event.  It has since been decided that I will keep Cash and campaign him in barrel racing when the time comes.  Cash has become an awesome trail horse and is turning into another all-purpose gelding that will have a home with us for a long time!

Blakjak--Morgan

Blakjak is the very first horse I ever owned.  I used to ride Blakjak 15-30 miles every single day no matter what the weather.  I rode in rodeos, parades, rescues, everything!  Blakjak has taught MANY people how to ride and is loved by everyone.  I had given him to another little girl who rode him many more miles.  We recently got Blakjak back due to some problems with his weight and are happy to say that he has gained it all back and is being ridden again.  He acts like he is still 2 years old at the young age of 31!  Blakjak will be in our family forever.  Pictures were taken 01-03-2008.
